– Brussels, 3 June 2025 – The World Forum for Ethics in Business (WFEB) is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Sanjay Pradhan as its new President, effective 1 June 2025.
Dr. Pradhan brings decades of global leadership in governance and ethics. He most recently served as CEO of the Open Government Partnership, a coalition of 77 countries (2016–2025), and previously held the role of Vice President at the World Bank (2008–2016). In 2023, he convened over 1,000 corporate leaders at the Global Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C., driving forward a shared vision of embedding human values in business.
Recognized for his visionary leadership, Dr. Pradhan received the 2022 Social Innovator of the Year Award at the Davos World Economic Forum for being “a tireless champion of good governance and fighting corruption.”
Dr. Sanjay Pradhan holds a PhD in Business Economics from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard College.
WFEB would like to express its immense gratitude and appreciation for the invaluable contributions by our outgoing WFEB President, Mrs. Rajita Kulkarni. Over an illustrious 14-year tenure, Mrs. Kulkarni helped position WFEB as a global platform, convening 35 international conferences in 15 countries, reaching over 150,000 stakeholders.
WFEB is deeply grateful for her remarkable service and is pleased to share that Mrs. Kulkarni will continue to serve on the WFEB Board of Directors, where her wisdom and experience will remain a guiding force in our mission.
